Passo delle Tortore, a winery from Irpinia, originates from an idea of four young entrepreneurs from the south and a very young winemaker trained among the vines of "historic" France. The turtle doves, a symbol of love, family, and fidelity to the earth and to nature, have been the inhabitants of this area for many years. Our "Fiano" was born from the "honey-scented kiss" of doves, a fresh, fruity wine with hints of honey, linden, and tropical fruit. In the arches of the old Avellino village, the small wild turtledoves received the seeds of life, while an old lady intoxicated the entire community with the scent of the wild must.
An elegant walk in the places adjacent to Pietra dei Fusi, called Passo Serra, inspired the ruby red of our Aglianico "Sassoserra".The grapes come from high hill lands, located in Lapio, an area of great vocation for the production of Fiano grapes. The climatic conditions and the strong temperature variations give life to a fresh, fruity wine with hints of honey, linden, and tropical fruit. Evolution in the bottle will produce notes of candied citron and toasted hazelnut over time, which will make the wine even more complex.
