A small winery in Petaluma dedicated to making uniquely Californian wine for your table. Michael Cruse was born and raised in Northern California and prides himself on producing wines that are unabashedly Californian and inherently delicious.

The most Valdiguie we've ever put into Monkey Jacket at 65%. The remaining volume is biodynamic Petite Sirah, old vine Carignan, and a red field. The brightest, most youthful Monkey Jacket we've ever made. Fermentation was carried out in concrete tanks with about 25% whole grape clusters. The finished wine matured in a mix of concrete and older French oak barrels/puncheons, to preserve the fruit. The nose is raspberry, bramble, and sapid, white strawberries. The palate is high in acid and clean with a crunchy, rhubarb finish.
