The Winery Bonavita comes into existing thanks to the determination of the Scarfone family, who, have given new life to the great extensions of the very same vineyards that have been cultivated in the family for over a century. The objective of the winery is to contribute to revaluing one of the most ancient Sicilian guaranteed quality wines, the “Faro” of Messina (Faro is one of the oldest DOC of Sicily, born in 1976, it is located in the north-eastern tip of Sicily). They just decided to leave the DOC so it's now Terre Siciliane IGT.

The wine has some serious energy behind it. The aromatics are extreme with notes of red roses, bright cherry blossoms, and a touch of mint. The palate is deep, with raspberry, thyme, wood smoke, and lavender. This is an epic wine that is incredibly delicious now but it has the stuffing to age for 10 years or more.
