Amorotti is an Italian venerable family farm, set amongst the harsh peaks of the Gran Sasso mountains and the placid waves of the Adriatic Sea. The organic farm, whose early origin dates back to 1521, hosts a vast wildlife and forest reserve, where pastures and centuries-old woodland coexist with cultivated land home to vines, olives, cereals, legumes, and a wide diversity of further genetic resources all belonging to the agricultural heritage of Abruzzo. The Amorotti historical cellar is a captivating labyrinth of bricks and stones located underneath the family’s Palazzo in the center of the late medieval village of Loreto Aprutino. Here the principles of craftsmanship, minimal intervention, and tradition inspire the winemaking process and give form to the Amorotti wines along with constant dedication and the firm will of making natural products respectful of the biosphere and of a vine culture transmitted by the ancestors. A deeply truthful expression of the vines and terroir at their source, the Amorotti wines come to life within a compelling creative environment.
